You are not a hopeless case or a basket case…do not buy into what will dim your light. You are dealing with a case, a “life situation”. The thing about life situations, they are NEVER ever planned right? So being caught by surprise or off guard is expected.
Here’s what you can do if you find yourself in this place today.
1. Calm your thoughts – meaning, do not buy into the first though…which in most cases is doom and gloom.
2. Calm your mouth – stop telling EVERY ONE who will listen your “situation”. Yes, it is good to vent and not hold things in, but it is always wise to choose WHO to share things with.
By doing those two things, you will have the space to gain clarity on what you need to do – if anything to change the outcome.
You will carry around less stress, be less anxious and that is better for you physical wellbeing.
You will LEARN something that will help you in the future, and you will GROW as a result.
So take a breath, breathe out…you are not hopeless.
To your best you!
